Release 136 – Smarter Comparisons and Portfolio Control

This release introduces new flexibility for comparing schedules in Change Control and brings key upgrades to Portfolio, including KPIs and project exclusion.

What’s New in Release 136?
 

1. Compare Schedules Your Way in Change Control

You’ve always been able to view two Gantt charts side by side. Now you can actually compare them.

What’s new:

  • Add columns like:
    • Total Float and Total Float Difference
    • Duration and Duration Difference
  • Sort by any column
  • Rearrange and resize to fit the view you need

The comparison view is now fully customizable, so you can adjust it until it works for you. Whether you're checking critical delays or verifying updates, it’s now much faster to see what’s different.

2.  Clearer Critical Path Feedback

We’ve added two new columns that show whether an activity was removed from the path or from the schedule. Before, both just said "Removed." Now, you get a clear answer. And yes, these columns can be toggled off like the rest.

3. Portfolio Just Got More Useful

You can now tailor the Portfolio view to show what matters and hide what doesn’t.

What’s new:

  • KPI bar with:
    • Average project slip
    • Average data age (how recent your updates are)
  • Project exclusion:
    • Remove test files or outdated uploads with one click
    • Save changes to clean up your Portfolio view
  • Data exclusion notifications appear when changes are made and can be dismissed

This helps you filter out noise and keep your Portfolio focused and report-ready.

4. Small Enhancements, Smoother Workflows

  • Delay Navigator now alerts you when no matching activities are found between two schedules
  • Risk results charts are now interactive. You can zoom in, move around, and explore large projects more easily
