<h2>Congratulations! You just made your first step to making your life easier!&nbsp;</h2><p>Hi there! If you are reading this, it means that you just got invited into the platform!&nbsp;<br>This article will guide you through your first day with Nodes &amp; Links and how to get started!</p><blockquote><p>We use the following terms to navigate data within the platform:</p><ul><li><strong>Project</strong>: A predetermined set of schedules that constitute a self-contained object. This object is called ‘project’. A project on the Nodes &amp; Links platform usually reflects one real-world project, but there are exceptions where one project on Nodes &amp; Links can be composed of more than one real-world project.</li><li><strong>Fiiles supported:</strong> Oracle Primavera P6 file (.xer), Microsoft Project (.mpp) or PowerProject (.pp) file.&nbsp;</li></ul></blockquote><h2>Step 1: Accept the invitation in your email&nbsp;</h2><p>Before you get on the platform you need to create an account. You should see an email with an invitation that looks like this:</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com//0fd80da0-1887-4265-81a4-602f50e685d5"></figure><h2>Step 2: Create a new project and upload your baseline</h2><p>All you need is internet access, a project schedule, and a modern browser and you are good to go!&nbsp;</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com//2fb9b1dc-6b24-4932-a11c-e9485b8c0afd"></figure><h2>Step 3: Upload an update for your project</h2><p>There are several ways of uploading a new schedule to an existing project.</p><p>We recommend doing so from the Home Screen - simply go to the top left corner and click on the ‘<strong>+</strong>’ icon. Once you are there, follow the on screen instructions and you are good to go!</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com//23b52a29-062d-4200-a369-7da5e82161a7"></figure><h2>Step 4: Invite a colleague</h2><p>You can easily add users to an existing project. Simply go to the bottom left corner and click on the ‘Add to a project’ button. You can invite one or many users at the same time, by simply adding their email addresses and assigning roles to them. We supply info regarding:</p><ul><li>Which activities you should crash and how much.</li><li>The impact of crashing each activity.</li></ul><p>The best mitigation scenarios are a combination of critical and non critical activities. Nodes &amp; Links has already 2 scenarios ready for you based on that principle.</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com//b60bb755-a7f6-4759-b70f-51f123d11d10"></figure><h3>&nbsp;Create your own mitigation scenarios and test them in minutes.</h3><p>You can create your own mitigation scenarios. When within a scenario there are 3 key takeaways:</p><ol><li>Its overview data.</li><li>The activities being crashed and by how much (percentage wise).</li><li>The effect each crashed activity had on the total scenario mitigation gain.</li></ol><figure class="image"><img src="https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com//684b8e0e-051f-458a-98ac-6dcfb6590e9d"></figure><h3>Editing an existing scenario</h3><p>It is possible to edit existing scenarios as well. There are 2 widgets on the home screen, one for the ‘Forecast’ and one for ‘Mitigation’ data respectively. You don’t have to do anything in P6 regarding that. This helps us understand what is the exact equipment given the equipment type. e.g., 10 tonne excavator should have a different CO2 rate compare to a 20 tonne excavator.</p><h3>Am I supposed to do something with the Primary Attribute?</h3><p>No this is just us being transparent about how we work. Units for equipment’s attributes cannot be inserted in P6 anyway We recognise them in the name of the equipment.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

How many activities and milestones are delayed? How is our progress and performance?</li><li>Will these changes affect my P80 position? How much has it changed?</li><li>Has my critical path changed? How did the path's activity count and float change? Is it causing a delay?</li></ul><p>Simply select your schedule from the drop-down menu, and click Compare. This will generate a range of information that you can use to identify all changes, and their impact, with the top banner focusing on project-wide KPIs.</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com//dd69782f-fcaf-4cad-a857-e2d36e4964b1"></figure><blockquote><p>Use the top banner to quickly find project-wide changes and associated details. If you find an activity of interest find out what has changed with a simple click!</p><ul><li>Can I visualize your project's schedule and see activities and changes relative to one and other?</li><li>Can I see what activities have been added, modified, and removed from the schedule?</li><li>Can I see what has changed in the modified activities? Has the Start Date, End Date, or Total Float along with many more? Has the criticality of this task changed?</li></ul><blockquote><p>Simply scroll through your schedule, see which activities and milestones have been added, modified, and removed. Click on an activity and get a detailed view below the Gantt chart - see what has changed fast and easily!</p></blockquote><h3>See how your critical path has changed</h3><p>By selecting <code>Critical Path</code> you can examine how your project's critical path has changed.</p><p>See what activities and milestones have been removed from or added to your critical path. Use the filters on the right-hand side to understand what has been modified:</p><ul><li>Which activities and milestones have changed?
