Delay Estimation (Minimum Estimated Delay and Maximum Estimated Delay)

Delay estimations are calculated through AI-driven analysis, assigning duration uncertainty based on historical data from similar activities. These estimations are then used to run Monte Carlo simulations to produce delay predictions.

Minimum Estimated Delay (Days)

The minimum estimated delay on the predict screen represents the P0 value, determined after our AI assigns duration uncertainty to the activity based on similar past activities and runs a Monte Carlo simulation.

Maximum Estimated Delay (Days)

The maximum estimated delay on the predict screen represents the P05 value, determined after our AI assigns duration uncertainty to the activity based on similar past activities and runs a Monte Carlo simulation. We use P05 as the maximum estimated delay as our research indicates it is the most resilient against long-tail effects.
