Save as Template
The "Save as Template" feature allows you to save a report as a template, making it easy to reuse whenever needed. This feature:
- Allows standardization of the reporting process across the company.
- Automates the workflow of creating a report.
1. Create a Template from an existing Report
You can save any custom report you create as a template.
- When viewing the report, click Save as Template in the top right corner of the screen.
- In the pop-up, you can:
- Name your template.
- Set access permissions:
- Private: Only you can see and use the template.
- Project: Everyone in the project can access the template.
2. Create a Template from the Template Selection Screen
You can also create a template directly from the template selection screen:
- Click Add a Report.
- Select Custom Templates.
- Click Create New Template.
3.Use a Template
To use a saved template:
- Click Add a Report.
- Select Custom Templates.
- Pick the Private or Project template you want to use.
FAQ
What happens to the AI-generated text in templates?
The AI-generated text automatically updates with data from the schedule you used the template with.
If I had a widget about an ACS, WBS, or activity that doesnโt exist in the new schedule version, what happens?
If the data is missing from the new schedule version, a message notifies you that the text could not be regenerated because the ACS, WBS, or activity is no longer available.
