Save as Template

The "Save as Template" feature allows you to save a report as a template, making it easy to reuse whenever needed. This feature:   

  • Allows standardization of the reporting process across the company.  
  • Automates the workflow of creating a report.


 1. Create a Template from an existing Report

You can save any custom report you create as a template. 

  1. When viewing the report, click Save as Template in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. In the pop-up, you can:
    1. Name your template.
    2. Set access permissions:
      1. Private: Only you can see and use the template.
      2. Project: Everyone in the project can access the template.
         

2. Create a Template from the Template Selection Screen

You can also create a template directly from the template selection screen:

  1. Click Add a Report.
  2. Select Custom Templates.
  3. Click Create New Template. 

3.Use a Template

To use a saved template:

  1. Click Add a Report.
  2. Select Custom Templates.
  3. Pick the Private or Project template you want to use.

FAQ

What happens to the AI-generated text in templates? 

The AI-generated text automatically updates with data from the schedule you used the template with. 

If I had a widget about an ACS, WBS, or activity that doesnโ€™t exist in the new schedule version, what happens? 

If the data is missing from the new schedule version, a message notifies you that the text could not be regenerated because the ACS, WBS, or activity is no longer available.
