Permissions
You can manage workspace-level permissions on the admin tool by clicking on “Permissions” in the left navigation bar.
The Permissions page allows you to control which actions Contributors and Members can perform across your N&L workspace. Permissions are organized into two sections: Access and Project Creation.
Under Access, you can choose whether Contributors and Members are allowed to:
- Edit integrity checks settings.
- Edit portfolio KPI thresholds.
These settings help you control access to sensitive configuration areas while ensuring the appropriate users can update portfolio and integrity-check information when needed.
Under Project Creation, you can choose whether users must select a Program when creating a new project.
To update permissions:
- Navigate to Admin from the main navigation bar.
- Click “Permissions” in the left navigation menu.
- Turn a permission on to allow the action, or off to restrict it.
- Click “Save” to apply the changes.
Available permissions:

| Contributor can edit integrity checks settings | Allows users with the Contributor role to update integrity-check settings. |
| Contributor can edit portfolio KPI thresholds | Allows users with the Contributor role to update portfolio KPI thresholds. |

| Member can edit portfolio KPI thresholds | Allows users with the Member role to update portfolio KPI thresholds. |
